Cigna, Evernorth and your mental health benefits
Evernorth Behavioral Health is Cigna's behavioral health company. If your plan is with Cigna Healthcare, your psychiatric visits are usually processed through Evernorth. You may see either name on your statements. Both mean the same coverage.
As an in-network provider, we bill your Cigna plan directly. Your share depends on your plan's copay, coinsurance and deductible.
Cigna EAP and your regular plan
Some employers offer a Cigna Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which usually covers a set number of short-term sessions at no cost. EAP benefits are separate from your medical plan's mental health benefits. Psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management usually go through your regular Cigna plan. Ask us which fits your situation, and we'll help you use the right benefit.

Check your Cigna coverage
- Call the member services or behavioral health number on your Cigna card, or log in to your Cigna member account.
- Ask about outpatient mental health benefits and telehealth psychiatry coverage.
- Ask about your copay or coinsurance, your deductible, and any referral or prior authorization rules.
Insurer directories can take several weeks to show newly added providers. If you can't find Erika in the Cigna directory yet, call us at 480-685-4569 to confirm.
No insurance, or a plan we don't take?
You can choose self-pay: $325 for the first evaluation and $150–$200 for follow-up visits. Self-pay patients receive a Good Faith Estimate before care begins. See insurance and payment for every plan we accept.

Common questions
Do you accept Cigna for psychiatry?
Yes. We're in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth Behavioral Health for psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy by secure video in Arizona.
Can I use my Cigna EAP sessions?
We accept Cigna EAP. EAP sessions are usually short-term and limited in number. For ongoing psychiatric care and medication management, we'll typically use your regular Cigna plan. Call us and we'll sort out which applies.
